Children with neurodevelopmental challenges, such as those diagnosed with Autism, may find it challenging to establish communication that is vital for socializing. Their condition limits their ability to express personal emotions and facilitate meaningful responses whenever someone attempts to communicate with them. Part of our advocacy at EDS Therapies Africa is to foster these children’s communication skills by highlighting the importance of language in a person’s life. Our team can facilitate activities that will help instill in their minds the concepts of linguistics at their pace. To ensure that the children can effectively convey their message in various ways, we will also tackle non-verbal cues in communication, such as:
- Facial Expressions
- Gestures
- Eye Contact
- Body Language
Our organization’s lifelong mission is to secure a promising future for African children with neurodevelopmental challenges. If you wish to help us sustain our outreach programs and further our advocacy, consider supporting our advocacy today.
